We offer minor repairs on select UNIQLO products. Please make sure your items are washed, cleaned, and stain-free before handing them off for repair. While we look forward to offering our services to everybody, we still reserve the right to reject certain items if we judge the items are not in clean, safe, and repairable condition.

“My ideology of fashion design is that it has to be a tangible representation of human existence. The clothes are a way for me to design life itself. Growing up in rural Japan, my connection with high fashion was developed through the natural surroundings of my hometown. The soothing sensation of the fast-flowing river gave me comfort; it made me feel ecstatic beyond words. I was engrossed by the everyday beauty that surrounded me, which is deeply ingrained in my work. As a result, my style was discovered naturally and organically. Then and now, nature has combined with my sense of style to form into something tangible, inevitably transforming into fashion. My creative concept focuses on forces molded by natural environemnts and human emotions. The themes of human anatomy, complex human thoughts, optical illusion, religion and reincarnation, and more are presented in fabrics, materials, and silhouettes. I work from these concepts as I create my garments. For example, the process of reincarnation can be represented by attaching leather to bone: two objects that had once died are united and transformed into something new representing the process of reincarnation. I once created an entire garment out of flattened cork, a material which communicates my concern with environmental issues. This enabled me to make an outfit completely out of organic matter. I enjoy creating wearable fabrics out of different materials such as household objects as well as combining different types of traditional fabrics. I like to create fashion as if it is multi-medium, sculptural art.
I am a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from PARSONS Fashion Design and Society (2019 Honors),Master of Arts in Fashion Design from Paris College of Art Haute Technology and Haute Couture Fashion Design (2017 Honors) and a Bachelor of Arts from Tokyo Mode Gakuen College of Fashion and Design (2015 Honors). I’ve received prizes and awars including but not limited to: CFDA FASHION FUTURE GRADUATE SHOWCASE in NY (2019), Frank furt Style Award 1st Prize in Germany (2017), and Tokyo Mode Gakuen Creator Of The Year(2015). Currently based in New York, my inspiration derives from diverse points of views and cultures. WIthout them, it would be impossible for me to design and create.”

"Raised in Irvine, CA, I embraced Southern California's lifestyle, finding my style in casual yet refined t-shirts and jeans. My journey as a clothing designer began in San Francisco, where I went to university and found myself becoming a Master Tailor specializing in bespoke denim for a prestigious global brand. Transitioning to designing and managing experiential events worldwide, I've been fortunate to work in diverse locales from New York City to Mexico City to Dubai. With a passion for denim, I've sought education and volunteer opportunities, immersing myself in Vietnam's denim factories. My expertise led to recognition in Sportswear International's Best of Denim. I've been a guest speaker at Project Las Vegas, discussing sustainability and customization trends alongside luminaries like Amy Leverton of Denim Dudes.
Currently based in Los Angeles, I devote my time to designing for brands, offering consultation and specialized live customization services. You'll find me taking meetings over coffee in Arts District, picking up samples at clothing factories, or live chainstitching for stores and events. Combining clothing design and my unique skill in chainstitch embroidery, I've crafted bespoke pieces for notable figures including Naomi Osaka, Justin Timberlake, and Snoop Dogg. I'm inspired by vintage Americana and Japanese aesthetics. My passion is contributing to outstanding products that make a positive social impact."

“Shaped and formed by Koreatown, Los Angeles, I've always been deeply connected to the vibrant streetwear and art culture that thrives here. My journey into the world of art and design began with my studies in architecture, which solidified my passion for creative expression. I’m thankful to have worked and lived in New York City during my young adult years, where I encountered an even broader spectrum of art, design and fashion. This experience further ignited my creative curiosities and opened doors to collaborations with clients and brands worldwide, allowing me to showcase my stylized illustrations and creative storytelling on various platforms.
Now that I've returned to Los Angeles, I am drawing new inspiration from this city and my roots as a Korean American in the ways I design apparel, illustrate iconic cars and produce prints for sports. These works draw on elements of my cultural background and are tinged with hints of nostalgia that resonate with the viewer. My works are a testament to the influences that have molded me and the dynamic environments that continue to inspire my creative journey."

International Repair Day
Celebrating International Repair Day at the RE.UNIQLO Studios! Customers who use our repair service on October 19th, 2024 received a free UNIQLO-branded sewing kit to empower customers to extend the life of their UNIQLO clothing.
National Upcycling Day Event
In honor of National Upcycling Day, UNIQLO SoHo hosted an expert embroiderer on Thursday, June 20th, to offer free embroidered pairs of socks for customers who recycled their clothing through our RE.UNIQLO Program, powered by SUPERCIRCLE.
Embroidery with Sean Lequang at Beverly Center’s RE.UNIQLO Studio
On Saturday, March 2nd, UNIQLO Beverly Center hosted Sean Lequang at their RE.UNIQLO Studio to offer free embroidery additions to customers new or pre-owned UNIQLO product. Customers were able to engage with Sean and utilize his unique service of adding one-of-a-kind embroidery designs to their clothing.
World Repair Day - Free Repairs and Patchwork!
We celebrated World Repair Day at the RE.UNIQLO Studio on Saturday, October 21! We offered free repairs for your loved UNIQLO items all day, including free one-of-a-kind patches made from vintage Japanese Kimonos*. Patches were available for the first 50 customers, and you could add them to a new or pre-owned UNIQLO item of your choice. Let's celebrate together" to "Get ready to celebrate next year!
Patchwork Event With Designer & Upcycler Simon Goldman
Simon was at the 5th Ave store on Friday, March 24th patching UNIQLO NYC logos on UNIQLO U Crew Neck shirts
for the first 25 customers.
Simon Goldman is a New York-based menswear designer renowned for his
focus on heritage and slow fashion, along with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community
building.
With a passion for craftsmanship and brand history,
Simon has gained a dedicated following in the fashion industry, inducing high-profile organizations such as
GQ, the CFDA, I-D Magazine, V Magazine, and the British Fashion Council. He believes that fashion is not
just about creating beautiful garments but also about preserving the legacy of iconic brands and celebrating
the artistry of skilled artisans.
Simon's unique approach to
design is rooted in his commitment to environmental responsibility and desire to create a more sustainable
future for the fashion industry.
Patchwork Workshop With Fashion Designer Sho Konishi
On Saturday, March 18th, the RE.UNIQLO Studio at UNIQLO 5th Ave store hosted Studio Masachuka and Sho Konishi for a special Sashiko and vintage Kimono upcycled patchwork event. We served over 80 customers - adding traditional Japanese patches and methods to their UNIQLO clothing.Studio Masachuka is a London garment manufacturer established in 2012 by Masahiko Morikawa. Their garments are made relying on Japanese craftsmanship and inspired by Japanese designs. In addition to their sewing service they are also working on various projects for introducing Japanese culture through fashion.
On October 1, 2022, Sho hosted a workshop at our SoHo location. He added custom jean scraps and kimono patches to their UNIQLO Jeans and Down Products, giving new life to their clothing and keeping these scraps out of landfills! The first 20 participants received a custom upcycling sewing kit from Sho, so they may practice what they learned at home.
