UNIQLO USA Donates Essential Clothing Items to Safe Place for Youth

Angeles. Safe Place for Youth (SPY) is the leading provider for transitional age youth (18-25 years old)
homeless services on the Westside of Los Angeles. SPY provides essentials such as clothing and
food, along with case management, housing navigation, education and employment support,
healing arts, and more. SPY serves over 1,300 youth in need of services, including managing 132
beds reserved for young people nightly.
UNIQLO USA’s donation was made possible through their RE.UNIQLO program. Through
RE.UNIQLO, customers have the opportunity to drop off their gently used UNIQLO clothing to any
UNIQLO store. UNIQLO team members then organize and sort the items, facilitating donations to
the local community by working with organizations who support those experiencing homelessness.
The donation will be available for SPY youth members through their clothing closet at their Access
Center in Venice, California. UNIQLO is humbled and proud to support the mission of SPY and to
work to bring LifeWear to those who need it.
