HOW TO ENTER

Application Closed

  • Introduction

※In the event of a conflict between this page and Rules For Entry, Rules For Entry shall prevail.

    • Designs can only be submitted through the website. Designs sent by mail, for example, will not be accepted.
    • All submissions, including illustrations and photographs, must be submitted on a flat surface — a sheet of paper, for example — because winning designs will be used to create prints for T-shirts.
    • Entrants can submit designs that cover the entire front and back surfaces of a T-shirt. However, design positioning may be altered by UNIQLO when necessary.
    • Plagiarized submissions, designs that have been developed for other purposes, or designs that have been used in the past by other organizations or companies will not be accepted.
    • Entrants may not have recourse to artificial intelligence to generate any parts of artwork.
    • Contest entrants must cover the cost of producing their designs on their own.
    • Regardless of whether the designer has obtained licensing rights or not, it is prohibited to use representations that include, evoke, or imitate specific persons or intellectual properties which belong to other third parties, including but not limited to characters, brands, logos, images, illustrations, styles, compositions, and linguistic expressions.
    • Artworks must be newly developed by the entrants only for UTGP2025 and must have never been published before.
    • UNIQLO may withdraw prizes and/or terminate merchandising of T-shirts with Winning Artworks without prior notice to an entrant, irrespective of the originality of the Artwork submitted by the entrant, if similar artwork is already publicly available from outside UNIQLO stores.
    • Entrants shall not use the Artwork for their own purposes including but not limited to the submission of Artworks to other design competitions.
  • Entry procedure

    Download templates

Contest entrants can choose the color of the T-shirt body from 10 different colors to be used. Please note that the color of the finished T-shirts may be slightly different from the templates that are shown online. Colors may be changed by UNIQLO when deemed necessary.

    • Please use English-language characters for the file name and save your designs with common file extensions such as PNG, JPG, or AI.
    • Please scan all illustrations, paintings and other non-digital submissions so they can be viewed in digital format.
    • Participants may be asked to resubmit their designs if they pass the first stage of judging, so please save all of your design files until the contest ends.
