Everyone is different, but personally I prefer this silhouette to last year’s pleated pants. When buying trousers, I always worry about the fit around the thighs and hips. Personally, I find the two-tuck style more flattering. The fabric feels quite thick and the centre crease is flattering. Even the S was quite generous, so I would recommend trying them on before you buy!

I am 158 cm tall and 54 kg, with a straight figure. I usually wear size 25 in UNIQLO jeans. For these baggy jeans, my recommended size was between 25 and 26. They were available at my local store, so I tried on the white in size 24, 25 and 26. The 24 had a sleek fit, but formed a Y-shaped crease around the crotch, so I wouldn’t be able to wear them with a top tucked in. The 25 was OK, but made my backside look big. The 26 sat on my hips to create a loose-fitting baggy silhouette without accentuating my backside, so this was the best fit. I haven’t bought them yet because I can’t decide about the colour, but if I do buy them, I’ll go for the 26. I hope this will be useful for people who can’t try them on!

I’m 163 cm tall and weigh 52 kg. I wanted some wide-leg jeans a while ago, but they sold out before I could buy a pair. These jeans caught my eye when I happened to be at UNIQLO, so I tried them on. I was thinking the shape looked like wide-leg jeans, but then I realised the cut was very stylish and I didn’t notice any tension at the waist. I wonder if they are stretchy. I usually wear a 26-inch waist, but I bought the 25-inch. You can go one or two sizes down. Maybe one size if you want to wear them with a top tucked in. I’m waiting until they’re on special offer to buy another colour.

I am tall with a slim build. I would recommend this style to people with broad shoulders! Straight jeans can’t cover my broad shoulders, but very wide styles tend to look too heavy, so I’ve always had trouble finding jeans, but these jeans are somewhere in the middle: they’re wide enough to cover my broad shoulders, but the cut is very stylish, so I would recommend them to broad-shouldered people like me.
