Designer of Engineered Garments. Born in 1962.
Moved to the U.S. in 1989. After years in Boston, New York City, and San Francisco, he settled in New York City in 1997 and founded Engineered Garments in 1999. In 2008, he became the first Japanese designer to be named among the GQ/CFDA Best New Menswear Designers in America.
